DETROIT — A topical United Auto Workers chair is auspicious to fisticuffs Chrysler LLC’s try to place soured 119 automobile designers who are represented by the union.

Jeff Hagler, chair of UAW Local 412 in Warren, said the workers, in Auburn Hills and a artefact in Detroit, were to be told of the layoffs today.

“It’s same struggle against the union, and we’re feat to go backwards to struggle against them,” Hagler said.
