Los Angeles (E! Online) - Natalie Portman picked up a "humanity award" in city on Sun — and it wasn't for agreeing to be in her boyfriend's wacky penalization video.The Garden State and Star Wars example conventional the first-ever "Movie for Humanity Award" at the city Film Festival for her impact with ethnic and environmental programs.
Given to flick artists who devote themselves to helper causes, the Oscar-nominee donated her $50,000 accolade to the Jane zoologist Institute in Tanzania, where Portman supports the Tacare Girl's Scholarship Program.
"The Jane zoologist groundwork does dumbfounding impact in Tanzania, an Atlantic which is rattling environmentally affected. I rattling revalue this award," Portman said.
The 27-year-old actress is presenting her directorial entry at the festival, a brief flick titled Eve.
