As of Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at small 4,143 members of the U.S. expeditionary hit died in the Irak struggle since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.The amount includes octad expeditionary civilians killed in action. At small 3,369 died as a termination of belligerent action, according to the military’s numbers.
The AP calculate is digit less than the Defense Department’s tally, terminal updated weekday at 10 a.m. EDT.
The nation expeditionary has reportable 176 deaths; Italy, 33; Ukraine, 18; Poland, 21; Bulgaria, 13; Spain, 11; Denmark, seven; El Salvador, five; Slovakia, four; Latvia and Georgia, threesome each; Estonia, Netherlands, Thailand, Romania, digit each; and Australia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, South Korea, digit modification each.
